Skyline's Bold Accent

Skyline Alpacas had the most awesome Snowmass Enlightened boys in 2015 and we held onto our two best, Skyline’s Bold Accent and Skyline’s Iolite. Both these boys took Blue Ribbons at the 2016 Alpacapalooza and then each got a Red Ribbon at the 2017 AOA Nationals in Denver this March. We absolutely love these boys but realize now we need to reduce the number of males in our breeding herd, and we do own both Enlightened and their dams.

What is truly amazing about these boys is their fineness, their density and their incredible staple length. Soon I’ll post some more recent pictures of the boys and their outstanding fleece –once it stops raining! I like both these boys equally! Here is a little bit about each of them.

Skyline’s Bold Accent is a gorgeous Medium Rose Grey with an outstanding head with adorable ears that the judges always comment about. He is extremely uniform across his blanket, which is another thing the judges commented about, along with his beautiful handle and staple length, density and well defined crimp. Just look at his 2016 histogram! 16.8 AFD, 3.7 SD, 22.1 CV, 0.7%>30u.

His Dam, Skyline’s Jacqueline is one of our best producers and is a Crescent Moon’s Kryptonite daughter, which makes her a Legacy granddaughter. We were not surprised by the quality of Jacqueline’s Enlightened boy. We just love him, but now we are offering him for sale.
