Skyline’s Orietta is everything we could have hoped for when we bred her dam, Skyline’s Snow Angel to our impressive black stud, Skyline’s Jedi Master. Orietta has outstanding confirmation and her fleece is dense, bright and has a wonderful handle. We were hoping to pass on the grey genetics found in both her parents’ background instead we got a gorgeous Bay Black that does have white socks and white on her face so clearly is carrying the grey gene.

The most special quality about Orietta, besides her wonderful genetic background a very soft fleece is her outstanding personality. She gets the PR award for the 2014 cria season. Everyone just loves her and I had a number of workers that said if they could, they would purchase her! She is super friendly but does understand the boundaries necessary between alpacas and humans.

Again, this is another animal we would love to keep but since Snow Angle gave us another “twin” of Orietta sired by a male not from our farm this cria season, we decided to offer Orietta for sale. You certainly won’t be disappointed with this purchase! We will be sad to see her go.
