Skyline’s Rosie Dream is just that, a dream come true. She is one of the most striking females in our herd not only because of her style, beautiful head and conformation, but also because of her stunning Rose Grey fiber. The color is just amazing and her yarn always sells out first! Rosie Dream’s dam is A of O Rose Celebration, the gorgeous full sister to Silver Celebration who was one of the most notable grey herdsires in our country until his untimely passing. When we purchased Rose Celebration we had her bred to McGinnis, another impressive Rose Grey and we got exactly what we had hoped for… The dream! Rosie Dream. For Rosie Dream’s first cria we chose a pairing to Snowmass XXXtreme. This was a powerful combination as we got a gorgeous Light Brown female from the pairing that we are very excited to add to our foundation herd. For Rosie Dream’s second cria we bred her to Crescent Moon’s Donato and got what looks like an exact replica of Rosie Dream in a little boy cria. We just love this little guy. ATV Silver Elation is Rosie Dream’s current service sire and we are sure they will produce an equally wonderful cria. I’m not anxious to sell this fine looking alpaca as I just love her looks and her sweet disposition, but we just have to make these hard decisions if we are going to reduce our herd size. Plus we are keeping her XXXteme daughter.
