Lovely Rita is just that! She is a full Peruvian True Black gal out of a Silvio daughter and our premier herdsire Accoyo America Phoenix. We just love our black Phoenix daughters. Lovely Rita had her first cria in 2012, and what a beauty. He is a stunning True Black, .38 Special son, and we were very pleased he was a boy! That says something about Lovely Rita’s quality, plus .38's. This fine young boy, Rocket Man, was shown in some very competitive shows and ribboned every time. He recently sold to an alpaca breeder in England. For Lovely Rita’s 2013 cria we bred her to Skyline’s Jedi Master. We chose this male as Lovely Rita’s half sister, our other True Black Phoenix daughter, gave us an absolutely stunning True Black female cria. AND, Oh my, Jedi Master did it again. An absolutely stunning TB male cria was delivered in 2013. For Lovely Rita's 2014 cria we bred her to Champion herdsire TAG Zendo's Jimi Tingo. Jimi has truly an amazing fleece and although he is white, he consistently throws color when bred to color. As stated above, we got an amazing White boy that we couldn’t be happier with and he just sold!

Skyline’s Rocket Man is a gorgeous, True Black, Aussie .38 Special son out of our impressive True Black Phoenix daughter, Lovely Rita. We were very excited about this combination hoping for a Grey or a Black, so we got what we wanted! Rocket Man has amazing genetics from both sides of his pedigree. Lovely Rita brings Vic Jr., Camilio, Peruvian Destiny (one of Greg Mecklem’s best dark females), Silvio, and Silver Cesario. We all know that .38 Special is amazing, and he adds in Hemingway, Royal Fawn and a little extra Victor. There is nothing not to like about that pedigree.
Rocket Man was special from the moment he was born. He has very bright fleece with a broad crimp style. What catches our attention is his amazing handle and staple length. He had 5.5” of growth in 313 days. Rocket Man also has one of those adorable personalities that made him a farm favorite.
As part of our 2013 show string, Rocket Man caught the eye of the judges earning 3 ribbons. We don’t want to part with Rocket Man, as we love what he could bring to our herd. But, downsizing is the mode we are in, so we are offering him for your consideration. We would like to reserve 2 breedings to Rocket Man once he starts his breeding career.
